Wheel bats make throwing more efficient, preventing distortion when lifting pieces off the wheel and allowing smaller forms to pop off at the perfect stage for trimming. This is a set of 4 water-resistant MDF bats, 1 cm thick and available in two sizes, 20 cm and 30 cm in diameter, providing a stable surface for your pottery practice.

Secure them to the wheel using a non-slip bat mat or a clay disc, then press down firmly before throwing as usual. Once you remove your pieces, scrape off leftover clay for recycling. A damp sponge can be used for cleaning if needed, but avoid soaking to maintain durability. For longevity, store upright and alternate sides to ensure even wear over time.
