Wheel Bats

Wheel bats make throwing more efficient, preventing distortion when lifting pieces off the wheel and allowing smaller forms to pop off at the perfect stage for trimming. These water-resistant MDF bats are 1 cm thick and come in two sizes, 20 cm and 30 cm in diameter, providing a stable and durable surface for your pottery practice.

Secure them to the wheel using a non-slip bat mat or a clay disc, then press down firmly before throwing as usual. Once you remove your pieces, scrape off leftover clay for recycling. A damp sponge can be used for cleaning if needed, but avoid soaking to maintain durability. For longevity, store upright and alternate sides to ensure even wear over time.
