These MDF molds for handbuilding plates make it easy to create uniform, repeatable shapes without a pottery wheel. The water-resistant material allows easy removal from the clay and gives you the freedom to refine the rim or add decorations with engobe, underglaze or slip-trailing.

The 2 cm thick, water-resistant MDF bats are available in 12, 14, 19, 22 and 26 cm diameters, ideal for everything from small trinket bowls to dinner plates.

For durability, store upright and avoid soaking. Clean with a damp sponge when needed.
